1. Introduction to SolidWorks

2. Sketching Basics

  • Creating 2D sketches on planes.
  • Using basic tools: Lines, circles, arcs, and rectangles.
  • Applying sketch relations and fully defining sketches.
  • Editing tools: Trim, mirror, offset, and fillet.

3. Part Modelling

  • Basic features: Extrude, cut, revolve, and loft.
  • Advanced features: Fillet, chamfer, shell, draft, and patterning.
  • Sweep and loft techniques.

4. Assembly Modelling

  • Inserting components and defining mates.
  • Creating exploded views and assembly configurations.
  • Advanced techniques: Replace components and mechanical mates.

5. Weldments

  • Structural and plate weldments.
  • Cut lists and design automation.

6. Sheet Metal

  • Base flange, edge flange, and miter flange.
  • Creating flat patterns and converting designs to sheet metal.
  • Advanced tools: Gussets, hems, and jogs.

7. Drawings

  • Generating 2D drawings from parts and assemblies.
